Ground Operations Control Center – GOCC

Thai Airways International officially opened its Ground Operations Control Center (GOCC) on July 16, 2008, at THAI’s Suvarnabhumi Airport Operations Centre. The GOCC’s objective is to promote seamless relationships between THAI’s four business components: Ground Customer Services, Catering, Ground Support Equipment Services, and Cargo & Mail Commercial Departments. By employing modern IT equipment to monitor and control all aspects of ground service activities, the GOCC aims to establish greater service and operational efficiency, ensuring 100 percent on-time flight performance, minimized ground time for better aircraft rotation, seamless transfer and handling of passengers and baggage, as well as fast recovery from irregularities.

SF’s role and responsibility:

SF, as the main contractor, delivered GOCC in July 2016 and has since provided overall maintenance support services 24×7.
