Flight Information Management Systems – FIMS
FIMS is an airport operation suite designed to manage Suvarnabhumi (BKK) airport. The FIMS suite consists of operational modules for planning, pre-tactical, tactical, and post-operation phases. FIMS is highly integrated with other systems within the airport, including interfaces with air traffic control. It centrally collects all flight-related data and provides it to billing systems for further processing.
Note: FIMS manages a single airport; iFIMS manages multiple airports.
SF’s role and responsibility:
SF provided overall maintenance support services 24×7, located at Suvarnabhumi Airport until the end of 2018, which continued with iFIMS.
